The curtains have been drawn on the eight edition of the reality TV show, Next Movie Star and Halimat Aitsegame has been declared winner.
In a statement made available to NET
today, NMS producers say the 22-year-old actress was unanimously voted
winner by the judges ‘based on the effort she put into her stay in the
30-day reality show’.
Executive producer Sola Fajobi has also confirmed that the promised car and movie contracts will be given to her in due course.
The show made its debut in 2004 and has produced popular actors including Tamara Eteimo, the 2011 winner, Uti Nwachukwu, Tonto Dike, Annie Macaulay, Kevin Chuwang Pam, Karen Igho and several others.
